Saabtoberfest 2004

    Saabtoberfest 2004 was a blast!  This year included a convoy up from south-eastern PA inlcuding Matt (cosmicsaab), paul (pfblack), Jeff (delorean), Jeff (burnside42), and myself (saab90089).  I met up with Matt and Paul then we got onto the PA turnpike, had I not missed our exit for the north east extension meeting up with jeff and jeff would have been perfect.  But after some turning around and some cell phone calling (and some confused calling, sorry matt LOL) we were met up with jeff and jeff.  Once at the meeting place for the meet I couldn't believe the number of cars that showed up!  Things seemed less confusing at start up this year, altough i got some "words of advise" from a few locals when we blocked the entire length of Wood St.
    As usual the prizes at lunch were GREAT, thanks to all who made donations for that.  Can't wait to use my new mug ;-).  The second half of the trip was just as good if not better then the first half.  Group 2 somehow got very spread out, so group 3 was made.........person 1 on radio-"should I call the leader of group 2 on my cell phone?"  person 2 on radio-"we've got maps, just follow the directions".  Turned everyone in group 3 had a blast, we seemed to be able to hold a faster pace as we caught up with group 2 twice.  Once arriving at the final location we defently filled the parking lot up more this year, had to resort to the upper parkinglot.  Before leaving Matt won the "grand prize" (guess that is its name?) drawing, a full set of Nokian snowtires!  Not bad, thank you who ever donated that.
